We are in need of an Inpatient Nurse Practitioner to oversee our medical detox program at Gouverneur Hospital. The hours are 11am-7pm Monday-Friday.Practice Description:The Nurse Practitioner-APP will be responsible for in-patient care, rounding, admissions, discharges, and consults. The provider will assess patient health by interviewing patients, medically-managing the detoxification services designed to assist in the safe withdrawal from alcohol and drug use; performing physical examinations, obtaining, updating and studying medical histories.
