As a T-CNA specializing in geriatrics at NCG Associates, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to elderly patients.ResponsibilitiesAssist in activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and groomingProvide emotional support and companionship to geriatric patientsAssist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipmentMonitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperatureAssist with feeding and medication administration as directed by healthcare professionalsImplement and maintain patient care plansDocument patient information accurately and in a timely mannerObserve and report any changes in patients' condition to the nurseEnsure a clean and safe environment for patientsCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and individualized careRequirementsValid certification as a T-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Previous experience in a geriatric care settingKnowledge and understanding of geriatric care principles and practicesCompassionate and empathetic attitude towards elderly patientsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to effectively prioritize tasks and manage timePhysical endurance and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objectsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysCurrent BLS certification (Basic Life Support)If you have a passion for providing quality care to geriatric patients and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you.
