Duration: 9 month contract, perm possiblePay Rate: $26.73 - no flex hereStart Date: ASAPLocation: Florence, KY Cincinnati, OH metro areaShift: 15 needed on first shift (8am - 4:30pm) 15 needed on second shift (5pm - 1:30am)**Please confirm which, or both, shift they are available forDesired skills:1+ years IT support experience, hardware or cabling preferred Experience with a ticketing system and proven ability to manage priorities in the system Knowledge of Operating Systems, preferably Linux Understanding of network designprotocols, storage devices and scripting languages Must be capable of lifting 35lbs Ability to problem solve individually and work in a production environment Plusses Data center experience at an enterprise level company Day-to-Day As a Data Center Technician, you test and repair data center components using a variety of testing rigs and jigs and record test results in a (WMS) Warehouse Management System. You will receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed. You will be lifting materials and products as you will be loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations. You have basic to intermediate system administration skills and will follow well defined workflows or SOP's needed to properly test components. You are able to execute small projects on your own, and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You know how to innovate and make decisions on hisher own, but also know how to take direction when it is given, paying attention to all details involved.
