Job Description:

Job Title: Production Engineer ( French Speaking)Location: Little Rock, ARExperience : 3+Performs the coordination and integration of different departments to ensure that the aircraft or components are on schedule, mitigate risks in a timely manner, and the aircraftcomponents meet the Dassault quality and safety level. The goal is to accomplish the production process in the smoothest, most judicious and most economical way.What you will be doing:Assess the risk induced by new tasks or reworks on the aircraftcomponents progress and defines action plans to negate those risks. Proposing risk reduction plans for future improvement.Coordinate and manage daily technical action plans and follow up with assembly team managers concerning assignment of tasks, operations and discrepancies to be performed on the aircraftcomponents according to the schedule and expected quality level.Conduct daily monitoring of critical issues and make improvements when needed (to include but not limited to shortages, technical events and schedule with actions necessary to keep the line moving). Reports to the assembly team Manager about critical issues with input regarding recommendations and actions to resolve them.Coordinates with other departments as required ensuring materials, parts, documentation, engineering data, and other items are delivered to the aircraft or shop on time.Ability to conduct root cause analysis and define a corrective action plan to improve the process or product in regards to cost, schedule, quality, etc.Manage aircraftcomponents transfers, projects, and new processes under the supervision of the Business Unit management.Utilize support teams to maintain the aircraftcomponents production process and to improve the schedule.May be selected as the assembly team's subject matter expert (SME) for special projects.What you bring along:Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Engineering, Business or related field. Completed, relevant education from an accredited college or university may be substituted with years of relevant work experience. 1 year of education = 2 years of experience.Three (3) years of experience in aircraft completions, maintenance andor components manufacturingKnowledge of engineering practices and challenges related to the management of the production processAbility to research, analyze and recommend efficient production processes through production engineering concepts regarding work-study, ergonomics, operation research, root cause analysis, manufacturing management, materials management, production planning etc.Ability to read, understand and communicate (both verbally and in writing) technical information contained in aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.Proven abilities in analytical and critical-thinking skillsAbility to troubleshoot problems by determining and following detailed action plansWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office to include PowerPoint, Project, Access and SharePointMust be able to function throughout the total facility, including up and down stairs and in and out of aircraft with or without reasonable accommodationAdditional Desired Qualifications (Good to have):Fluent in FrenchAeronautical experienceFAA Airframe and Power plant licensesLeadership experienceFormal training in LeanContinuous improvementPMP CertificationKnowledge of Visual BasicWhat can you expect from TMC ?TMC is an international high-tech consultancy company that brings expertise to their clients in order to support them with the realization of their technological challenges.
