FULL TIME ORTHOPEDIC HAND MIDLEVELSeeking a Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a full -time position in a busy Orthopedic Hand Clinic. The practice is looking to add a second APP to work both in clinic and surgery. The clinic is a fast-paced environment where you will see anywhere from 30-40 patients a day alongside the supervising physician. The mid level will also be responsible for rounding on patients at Willis Knighton Bossier Hospital.This practice includes another 3 experienced Orthopedic Surgeons, one DPM and 6 APP.Mid level duties:• diagnose and treat patients• Order and interpret studies• Assist in surgery• Casting and splinting factures•Must char using EHR• Other administrative dutiesCall s required.Mid level will be expected to take3-4 days o general ortho calls a monthDEA license is required.No prior experience required- there will be on the job training. Some surgical experience or PA graduate is petitive salary and PTO.
