Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Estimator to join our team. This pivotal role involves the coordination, and oversight review of all part costing activities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in service delivery. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in manufacturing, specifically within the realms of diecutting, converting, and laminating processes.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the coordination and oversight of all part costing activities across North American Tiers and OEMs.• Utilize effective cost models and operational support systems for product costing and development.• Oversee engineering changes, material requirements planning (MRP), and bill of materials preparation to ensure accuracy and efficiency.• Conduct time studies, cost reduction initiatives, and competitive analysis to enhance manufacturing operations and reduce overhead.• Prepare standard operating procedures (SOP), quotes, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making processes.• Utilize analytical skills to solve complex problems, improve processes, and manage project costs effectively.• Foster effective teamwork, leadership, and communication across all levels of the organization.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Accounting or related field.• Proven experience in costing and product development• Strong multitasking abilities and proficiency in production processes, manufacturing operations, and cost management.• Proficient in Microsoft Suite• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Familiarity with RFQ, RFP, cost models, operational support, cost engineering, project estimation, cost control, and process improvement methodologies.What We Offer:• Competitive salary and benefits package.• A dynamic and supportive work environment.• Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.• A chance to be a part of a leading company in automotive acoustical solutions and other manufacturing industries.To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and why you are the perfect fit for this role to our HR department.
