A successful and stable Crane Manufacturer in the Dallas, Texas area is seeking an Electrical Engineer to help grow its team! Shift, Days, M-F, flexible start time.Pay: 80-125k DOE, heavy commission structure on top of salary, negotiable with salary. Job Responsibilities•Design electrical controls and wiring schemes for cranes using control types from contactor control to variable frequency drives and radio controls. •Create work packages for use in the production of new cranes. Work packages include documentation such as bills of material, electrical schematics, wiring and conduit layouts, mounting drawings, and wiring charts. Manage and organize all documentation on the server. •Supervise and provide technical support to the electrical technicians producing the new equipment. Lead the troubleshooting of any technical issues that may arise during production. Program and tune variable frequency drives for all flux-vector controlled hoists. •Coordinate with and provide technical assistance to the sales department in order to provide customers with the proper solution to their needs. Secure vendor quotes for non-standard projects and provide equipment recommendations for proposals. Job Requirements*Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution preferred (A degree in Computer Engineering combined with industrial experience may substitute for the Electrical Engineering degree)*Minimum 3 years of experience with industrial PLC systems, HMI systems or distributed control systems- overhead cranes required*Able to draw (2D) in Auto Cad, perform calculations using Excel and Math Cad, along with full use of MS Office products. required
