Summary of position:The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Finance and will be located in the Conshohocken office. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with forecasting, analysis, reporting, and business intelligence development.Responsibilities:Leverage reporting tools to develop financial and analytical reportsGather and organize large amounts of data from multiple systems and sourcesRegularly build and maintain models to support organization reporting and tracking initiativesActively participate in the analysis and variance explanations of financial reportsResponsible for investigating and understanding key business issues behind the numbers and provide clear, concise, and timely analyses and recommendationsSupport ongoing budget and forecast performance, monitoring trends, analyze and communicate the results of efforts and insightsContribute to month end close, review of variances from budget, and expense reviewInitiate and lead projects related to process improvementProvide support for various accounting tasks in accordance with department needsParticipate in ad-hoc projects and analysis as neededAssist with year-end audit(s) by providing data requested by external auditorsRequired Skill and Competency Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field3-5+ years financial analysis experienceAbility to strategize and solve problemsExcellent oral and written communications skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated business operations-oriented person with strong analytical skillsAdvanced experience with excel a must and experience with NetSuite are a plusDeerfield is committed to creating an inclusive employee experience.
