Our client is a large independent advisory, tax and audit firm based in north Indianapolis, IN. They are looking for a client-facing Principal Software Engineer to lead the team in developing cutting-edge web applications, conceptualize and deploy robust cloud architectures, and drive AI and Client innovation.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and architecture of state-of-the-art web applications using contemporary frameworks and languages.Design and implement resilient and scalable cloud architectures, driving the entire application development lifecycle from ideation to deployment.Conceptualize, and deploy cloud technology strategies to enhance application performance, focusing on scalable solutions.Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, specifically AI and ClientQualificationsDemonstrable experience in software engineeringExpertise in modern web technologies, particularly JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 2+, Node.js, with C# familiarity as a plus.Experience in architecting and developing large-scale, high-performance B2B web applications and APIs.Experience in leveraging cloud platforms for the creation of resilient, scalable solutions.An innovative mindset demonstrated through previous R&D achievements, especially in applying generative AI and computer vision technologies to solve real-world problems.Experience or familiarity with machine learning technologies and its application in the public accounting space.Continuously motivated to learn and apply the latest technological advancements.Exhibits strong leadership qualities, guiding teams towards achieving high standards.Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to systematically approach and solve issues.Capable of understanding and translating non-technical requirements into clear, technically feasible solutions.
