Day-to-Day:Resolve billing discrepancies and denialsrejections promptly and efficientlyAnalyzingUnderstanding Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or Remittance Advice (ERA) received from an insurance carrier and take appropriate action according to company guidelinesprocesses per the clientFollow-up with insurance companies via phone calls or payer portals on denialspaymentsAbility to find trends and able to research payer policiesguidelines to provide back to the management teamCorrecting and resubmitting claimsDocumentation and data entryAble to monitor accounts receivable follow up Work QueuesReportsOther duties as assignedThe schedule is Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PMMust-Haves:Diploma or GED1+ year of medical billing FOLLOW UP experience Familiar with various insurance carriersUnderstanding of Medical Terminology including CPT and ICD-10 Codes Ability to handle 75+ claims daily Excellent communication skills Plusses:EPIC follow up experience
