Join a family of skilled Tradespeople that call the Champion City home. A growing, family-owned metal shop in Springfield is hiring experienced Maintenance Techs for 2nd and 3rd shift roles.The Maintenance Tech should be able to perform preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment and facilities, ranging from general building maintenance to complete disassemblyrepair of machinery and complex devices.REQUIREMENTS:Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills in medium voltage electrical circuitry, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanicsLock-outtag-out proceduresStrong knowledge of Robotic Welders andor Stamping PressesCapable of working in confined spacesCapable of working at heights up to 40 feetOwnership of basic tools to perform maintenance duties as assignedBe able to operate Manual Mills and LathesGeneral Building MaintenanceEXPERIENCE:Previous stamping press maintenance experience required. Previous experience with Allen Bradley PLC platforms preferred.Some formal post-high school training in machinery maintenance, electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
