Our locally owned, Asheville-based real estate agency needs an organized people person with an eye for design to help with agent support needs in our busy office. This position requires a skill for multitasking and an ability to use simple design tools like Canva to fill out pre-designed templates and follow instructions on how to customize pre-designed documents.As a real estate agency with more than 40 agents on our team, Town & Mountain's office is a vibrant and active place to work. The ideal candidate for our Administrative Assistant position is someone who likes to be active at work and is happiest in a social environment where everyone pulls together to meet deadlines. Due to the time-sensitive nature of real estate work, you may find yourself frequently evaluating your priorities and shifting your to-do list in order to assist agents with immediate needs.Key CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will be able to fulfill the following job responsibilities:Able to processprioritize time-sensitive requests and multitask effectively, including handling a variety of different types of small tasks in a single dayThis prioritization may include tight turnarounds for time-sensitive work requiring that other projects get shifted around. This person should be proactively communicative where appropriate if lower-priority tasks get shifted and will be completed later than an initially stated deadlineCan effectively shift focus quickly without losing momentum; for example, they can be interrupted in the middle of a task and pick it back up easily once the interruption is overIs consistently friendly and helpful with the people who work in the office and comfortable with basic office technology to the point that they can troubleshoot basic office tech problems with things like printers, modemrouter, computer operating systems, Google Drive, etc.Responds promptly to communications from agents, colleagues & vendors across a variety of formats, including email and phone calls.
