Human Resource ManagerWhat will you do as a Human Resource Manager?As a Human Resources Manager, you'll provide Human Resources support to all levels in the organization including benefits administration, payroll, time-off management, and employee relations. This position will work closely with managers on employee issues and engagement, as well as interpreting company policy and practices. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Maintain confidentiality on all levels of employee interactionProvide employee relations support to staff and managers while maintaining appropriate documentationAdministration of employee benefits including processing of paperwork, working with brokers and benefit providers, maintaining accuracy of billing, and assisting in resolving employee benefit questionsconflictsproblemsOrganize and conduct open enrollment benefit meetingsOrganize and participate in monthly Lunch & Learn Conduct new employee orientationCoordinate employee training and development Provide assistance with misc. projects, such as performance management, compliance reporting and record keepingReconcile timecards for payroll, troubleshoot and research payroll related questionsissues and provide solutions for employee questionsResponsible for recruitment efforts for all entry-level and non-supervisory positions including posting open positions, reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screening, interviewing, and running background checks.Maintain and organize employment records including updating employment files and databases, preparing paperwork for processing new hires and terminations, verifying employment, processing change of status forms and creating HR database reportsAdminister and track FMLA leaveAssist the Office Manager in employee event planningOther duties as assignedAm I a Good Fit?It is important to be self-motivated, able to maintain confidentiality, and be able to recognize employee relation issues that are vital in any Human Resources role. We seek a candidate that will identify and utilize methods and tools to recruit qualified candidates to meet today's staffing challenges and needs. We have an HR department of one, so the ability to multitask and interact with all levels of employees while being perceived as approachable and a knowledgeable resource is key.
