Job Description:

The Account Manager will provide exceptional service to assigned accounts, in the areas related to the propertycasualty risks, with emphasis on member retention. This position will also develop solid business relationships with the members andor their brokers through frequent communications and meetings.Responsibilities: • Manage assigned book of business and provide exceptional service to Trust members with an established retention goal to achieve long term growth. Respond to verbal and written inquiries in a timely, proficient and professional manner. Create accurate and thorough policy summaries for members providing information on coverage limits and deductibles in accordance with established procedures. Conduct annual underwriting reviews to identify and secure risk and statistical data necessary to ensure coverage needs of members are met. Recommend additional coverages as needed to meet unique exposures. • In accordance with established procedures, review requests for certificates of insurance where the member is named insured andor the certificate holder, to determine if member is compliant with contract requirements and coverage and limits are adequate. Work with account assistant when needed to provide accurate information for issuance of certificates of insurance. • Perform accurate data entry of schedule adjustments, coverage endorsements, audits, certificates of insurance and newconsolidated member accounts to ensure membersbrokers receive accurate policy documents and excess carriers receive accurate exposure data. This may include special projects to update exposure data. • Work with Member Services Representative as needed regarding members' aged receivables and work with the Risk Manager on account cancellations.• Respond to inquiries from internalexternal claims personnel in a timely and efficient manner by providing coverage information, limits, deductibles, etc., and assist with the interpretation of insurance policyprocedures needed to adjust losses. Monitor progress and follow up on claim issues between members and adjuster until resolved to the member's satisfaction. • Compile data for special projects, new products and other assignments as necessary, following project guidelines and timeframes in order to better service our members, maintain accurate system data, and assist the Risk Manager in securing favorable coverage terms with the excess carriers.• Provide information to members on the other plans, products and services offered by the company to enhance member relationships and contribute to the growth of the company.
