Job Description:

JCW is currently partnered with a renowned global reinsurer as they are seeking a P&C underwriter to join their team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the successful management of clients and building new business which grows revenue and minimizes loss exposures. Responsibilities:Manage underwriting operations, client relationships, and risk decisions for US Regional Portfolio.Maintain underwriting exposure reports, analyze figures, and assist in producing management reports.Ensure compliance with ethics policies, regulatory requirements, and Group protocols under Lead Underwriter guidance.Qualifications:5+ years of brokerunderwriting experience for a reinsurer.Working knowledge of how to experience and exposure rate a property treaty, with casualty knowledge a strong plus.Good working relationship with US reinsurance brokers.Awareness of P&C industry trends.Awareness of domestic market practices when reviewing and suggesting changes to contract wordings.Strong excel skills.Please message Luca Cambursano at with a copy of your resume if you are interested in further details.
