At Comren, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, professionalism, and open communication. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Los Angeles, CA for a Construction Estimator. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including construction estimating, quantity take-offs, cost management, communication, and budgeting. Responsibilities:Prepare material quantity surveys for projects.Solicit subcontractor bids.Review and assist in writing subcontract scopes.PrepareAssist and update project budgets.Develop project schedules.Maintaining logsMaintain historic project cost data.Assist purchasing as needed.Create subcontractor scopes of work for bid.Assist with other construction management tasks, as needed. QualificationsA minimum of 4-5 years of industry experience.Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs skillsCost Management and Budgeting skillsExcellent communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesExperience in the construction industryExperience using Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and ProcoreMust be physically able to perform job walks and maneuver around an active construction siteBachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
