Job Description:

The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of key infrastructure systems and services. As a key member of the Global Infrastructure Team, the Senior Systems Engineer will have responsibility to provide first class service to our internal customers by planning and delivering on tactical technology projects and changes. This position will coordinate technical currency projects - including upgrades, implementations and recommendations for system and process changes to meet business objectives. The Senior Systems Engineer will work closely with other IT teams to accomplish company objectives.This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.The ideal candidate is someone who is:Industry-related experience as a Senior Systems EngineerSolid background in virtualization technologies such as VMWareProven background in handling windows servers and services such as IISIn-depth Active Directory Engineering KnowledgeExperience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds)Experience with storage technologies such as PURE StorageExperience with technologies such as Citrix VDI and backup solutions such as RubrikExpertise in hypervisor replication technology such as ZertoFamiliarity with communication protocols (mainly TCPIP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)What you will do:Support the day-to-day infrastructure operations for global offices as it relates to underlying infrastructure supportLead infrastructure-related projects and deployments, coordinating with other teams as neededEnsure core systems such as Cisco UCS, vCenterESXI, PURE Storage, Windows Sever Operating systems are patched and updated on a normal cadence to ensure high availabilityParticipate in the completion of Datacenter related tasks (e.g., virtual machine provisioning, performance troubleshooting etc.)Mentor team members on technical issuesParticipate in an on-call rotation for all data center servicesAct as issue point for global service desk for any server related issuesParticipate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for service interruption and develop strategies for problem resolutionBuild and maintain operational and procedural documentsAssist in IT's involvement in SOC 1 certificationAnd other responsibilities as requiredWhat you bring:Problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and multitaskStrong understanding of the operational aspect of enterprise technology managementExcellent verbal and written communicationExperience working in a large or midsize company with multiple international officesProven experience owning disaster recovery testing effortsExperience handling some aspects of a SOC1 or other type of certificationWilling to travel internationally 1-2 times per year to global offices as projects dictateEducation PreferredBachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experienceExperience5 plus years working in Systems Engineering
