Our search practice recruits and works with the most relevantly skilled and pedigreed professionals looking to excel in their careers.THE OPPORTUNITYOur client is one of the leading companies within the beautyCPG industry and they are seeking a high-performing FP&A Manager to join their finance team. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the FP&A Manager will take ownership of the FP&A process and deliver the monthly financial package, lead the budgeting and forecasting process, and drive analytical insights to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.FP&A MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:Generate a monthly financial package and conduct analysis of variances for presentation to the Vice President of Finance.Spearhead the financial planning and analysis procedures of the company, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning.Craft thorough financial models, analyze variances, and compile performance reports to offer insights into crucial business drivers and trends.Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary inputs, assumptions, and data for precise financial projections and analysis.Assess and monitor crucial financial metrics, KPIs, and operational performance indicators to evaluate the financial well-being of the company and pinpoint areas for enhancement.Offer strategic financial guidance and recommendations to senior management, aiding in decision-making processes and steering initiatives to bolster profitability and efficiency.Coordinate with accounting and treasury departments to ensure precise and timely financial reporting, compliance, and management of cash flow.Foster robust relationships with internal stakeholders, promoting communication and alignment on financial objectives and goals.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA is desirable.At least 5 years of professional experience in an FP&A-related capacity.Prior experience in the beautyCPG industry is preferred.Familiarity with major retailers such as Ulta, CVS, etc., is beneficial.Experience with financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and analytical tools like Excel and NetSuite.Strong communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex financial information to diverse audiences.Demonstrated history of enhancing processes, optimizing financial performance, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with precision and attention to detail.Possesses a collaborative mindset, adept at building robust relationships and influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels.
