TRC's client is an established auto parts manufacturer looking for a 3rd shift Maintenance Specialist to join their team in Portland, ME on a full-time, direct hire basis.RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installation of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.Troubleshoot, repair, and program PLCs on existing equipment.Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unsafe conditions to supervisor with improvement suggestions. Work with Engineering to rebuild, design, and upgrade new existing equipment. Clean and maintain concentration levels on washcoolantRP tanks daily. Perform periodical lubrication maintenance schedule for assigned machines. Change oil and filters on machines as scheduled. Install electrical utilities, meeting all state, local, and federal codes. REQUIREMENTS:A.S. in the electrical or mechanical trades or equivalent experience. Ability to use electrical, electronic, and PLC testing and diagnostic equipment.
