The individual will collaborate closely with department team members and other internal staff to align personal sales initiatives. Additionally, the role involves working with the team to cross-sell products and services. The incumbent will also develop and execute a personal sales plan, holding direct responsibility for meeting annual production targets.Responsibilities:Develop a sales plan to generate business with new clients, build and maintain a business portfolio, and achieve incremental growth each year.Leverage opportunities to cross-sell multiple lines of coverage to existing clients and collaborate with department peers to maximize service sales.Maintain a high level of sales activity through self-driven initiatives to meet production goals and market products and services effectively.Develop and execute strategies to source leads, identify key decision-makers, and make cold calls to secure appointments and service presentations.Perform detailed analyses of prospective clients' needs, review existing insurancerisk management programs, and recommend appropriate, competitive coverages.Customize insurance programs to suit customer needs, covering various risks and clearly explain policy features, advantages, and municate product and service offerings effectively, develop tailored presentations, and employ closing techniques to secure business.Regularly meet with existing clients to maintain relationships, act as an adviser, and provide expected services.Keep accurate, timely electronic records of all prospecting activities using Microsoft CRM software, including data entry of contacts, sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.Build a personal network through professional referrals, community events, and other networking opportunities.Attend industry events, seminars, and workshops to stay informed about market changes, new products, and services, and receive technical training to enhance my skills.Stay updated with legislative changes, industry trends, and new product offerings, support company promotional activities and seminars.
