A steadfast commitment to consistency, quality, and quick turnarounds has powered FPW's continued growth, year over year.Reports to: VP of Creative ServicesFLSA Classification: ExemptJob Overview: As Sr. Copywriter & Brand Strategist the individual contributor role is of an experienced, technical, and passionate writer, with the opportunity to shape projects while helping to build and define organizational brands. In addition, this role aids the company in the development and realization of new market opportunities with fresh and effective promotional materials, campaigns, and brand synergy. This individual champions strong data-driven analysis to provide positive outcomes using market analysis and strategic marketing based on their research.Essential Expectations:Contribute your writing skills and creative brainstorming to writing and content projects that strengthen our client's brands as well as our internal brand.Concept, write and edit original copy, headlines, and collaborate with designers to produce digital assets including webcopy, white papers, digital ads, email, infographics, media scripts, and other brand touchpoints.Develop content, including interviewing stakeholders as necessary to crystalize key messages, source information, clarify requirements, and align on feedback, sometimes under tight deadlines.Work well in a highly collaborative environment, including an exceptional ability to listen and effectively respond respectfully to stakeholder feedback with openness, confidence and strong communication skills.Present concepts and copy to internal teams and clients, soliciting and responding to feedback in a professional manner.Partner with FPW's digital team to validate copy with real users, review data from assets, and optimize copy for performance.Use proven ability to edit and adhere to spelling, grammatical and brand standards.Conduct detailed research with a strong attention to detail.Develop business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests, projects and marketing plans.Support the development, implementation, and optimization of new and existing marketing strategies, in collaboration with the marketing team, internal departments, leadership, and vendors.Set specific marketing goals that align with the client's overall direction and business goals.Track and measure marketing outcomes including marketing activities, response, growth, retention, and ROI.Continuously monitor the marketplace and offer strategic thought to leadership on trends, relevant news, and findings.Provide analysis and recommendations that help shape brand narrative, target audience, and brand positioning, ensuring brand consistency through all marketing channels.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge Expectations:Time Management Skills: utilize excellent time management and project management skills to consistently meet deadlines, prioritize tasks appropriately and to delegate when appropriate.Social Media Skills: Must have a deep experience ideating content for emerging social mediums such as Linkden, Instagram, ect.Problem Solving Skills: Must display the ability to effectively prioritize workload on multiple projects simultaneously and accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions.Critical Thinking Skills: must display strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical capabilities when interacting with clients, managers, peers and munication Skills: must be able to listen carefully in order to accurately gather facts and figures from clients, managers, peers and stakeholders. Must also be able to clearly articulate the results of your work and present their findings in written reports.Attention to Detail: must pay strong attention to detail in order to be able to keep information accurate and organized while utilizing skills and knowledge to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.Business Acumen: must understand the basic functions of a business in order to accurately analyze and interpret client puter Literacy: need to be able to use advanced accounting software and other computer-based tools to work effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Newswire.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Copywriting, Business, or a related field, ORComparable record of copywriting and strategist experience required.At least (3) years of copywriting experience required.At least (2) years strategist experience preferred.Public relations knowledge or experience is strongly preferred.Social media marketing experience is a plus.Supervision Responsibilities:NonePhysical Requirements:Work is to be conducted primarily in office and occasionally at client locations, however some work may be conducted remotely via technology. This position requires work during the regular work week. This position will require some lifting (up to 20 lbs.) and long hours at a computer using a keyboard and mouse in addition to prolonged periods of standing andor walking.
