Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an IT Asset Manager for an immediate opening in Durham, NC.As an IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for asset management and hardware disposition for PCs, laptops, phones, and peripherals for employees of multiple departments.This is a contract position, slated for 6 months, but with the potential to extend or become permanent. The schedule is full-time (37.5 hoursweek), Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $27.00 per hour.Responsibilities Include:Taking responsibility for all new hardware that comes into the shop: tag it, enter it into an inventory system, wipe the hard drive, etc. Working with multiple databases, and managing details associated with each asset record.Conducting periodic audits of the IT asset portfolio to ensure compliance.Planning, monitoring, and recording software licenses andor hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.Handling configuration of endpoint devices.Making sure all inventory matches financials.Desired Qualifications:Prior experience in IT Asset Management or IT Inventory.Ability to work with and maintain multiple databases simultaneously.Strong understanding of hardware and peripheral lifecycle management.If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we want to hear from you!
