Executive AssistantVolunteer Florida is currently looking for an Executive Assistant to join our team. If you possess great organizational skills, have the ability to set goals and priorities, and have the desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere, this is may be the position for you! Position SummaryThis position serves as the Executive Assistant for Volunteer Florida and is responsible for overseeing administrative functions in an executive management setting. The Executive Assistant provides executive support to Volunteer Florida Executive Leadership. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 annually, based on experience.Volunteer Florida offers competitive benefits and retirement options. Desired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university along with experience in office administration, organizational oversight andor office systems.Additional desired qualifications include the following:Knowledge of office and administrative operations in an executive management settingKnowledge of and ability to handle inter-and intra-office correspondenceSkilled in operating a personal computer and software applications.Skilled in reading comprehension and proofreading.Ability to effectively manage time, coordinate meetings and schedule travel arrangements in a fast paced, executive environment.Ability to maintain a high level of public contact and work effectively on a national, statewide and local basis.Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, with a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to independently prioritize, multi-task and follow through on complex and broad assignments while also being able to work as part of a team.Ability to assist in planning Commission and Foundation meetings, training events, executive functions and site visits.Ability to write comprehensive and concise meeting minutes.Ability to travel on a statewide basis, as necessary.Ability to update technical skills as needed to perform functions of the office.Ability to foresee potential problems before they occur and work toward a solution.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Volunteer Florida is the state's lead agency for volunteerism and national service for Florida.
