The Facilities Manager directs and coordinates all maintenance functions including equipment maintenance, facilities & utilities maintenance, repair partsstockroom maintenance, capital projects, contractor and vendor liaison and hands-on management of the Maintenance Department.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEquipment Maintenance: Provide hands-on functional direction for all equipment break-down and preventative maintenance. Coordinate equipment repairs across shifts and respond to plant production and maintenance needs so goals and objectives are met in a timely and professional manner. Evaluate downtime data, operating procedures, equipment capabilities and capacities, and make repairs or authorized modifications or changes that achieve an efficiency improvement or operating cost reduction.Facilities & Utilities Maintenance: Oversee operations of the plant's primary utility equipment to include air conditioning equipment, electrical distribution system, fire protection system, compressed air system, and water distribution system. Ensure that necessary repairs and improvements are made to plant buildings, grounds, utility equipment and production equipment.Stockroom: Ensure optimum supplies of repair parts and that other plant essentials are available for plant and equipment maintenance. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 200 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays).
