This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide control systems engineering support to projects to include scope development, engineering labor and equipment estimate, control system architecture, Control System Design Objective, system configuration and networking, Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test, and start-up management. Assist with field installation and construction activities.Justify and fulfill the role of Project Manager for process control system projects.Coordinate with field instrumentation specialists to ensure propercorrect instrumentation interface with control system.Develop follow control system engineering practices which establishes standard hardware, software, and system development and application.Assist advanced process control engineersspecialists with control system advanced process control applications.Identify opportunities for efficiency upgrades.Coordinate with other AL entities providing standard plants and ensuring controls systems design is in line with US operations requirements.For existing systems, lead control system hardware andor software upgrades to maintain systems at latest approved revision levels.Provide consultation, review of MOCs associated with process control systems.Identify opportunities to upgrade control systems to reduce costs through improved reliability, operability and obsolescence avoidance. Develop cost justified opportunities into projects.Provide technical assistance to Maintenance and operating facilities to resolve control system operational or performance issues; including troubleshooting assistance, configuration and operator interface change assistance while adhering to the corporate MOC policy.Provide coaching and guidance to Reliability Center and facility-based control system support resources for troubleshootingrepairing systems.General RequirementsComply with all corporate policies, practices, standards and petent in cryogenic air separation process technology, knowledgeable in HYCO and SMR technologies.Willing to travel within the Americas.Accepts Call -Out duty.Willing to carry a cellular ply with all corporate policies, practices, standards and petent in cryogenic air separation process technology, knowledgeable in HYCO and SMR technologies.Willing to travel within the Americas.Accepts Call -Out duty.Willing to carry a cellular phone.Skill SetKnowledgeExpertiseThorough working knowledge of any of the following: Yokogawa Centum VP Siemens APACS, Foxboro IA, Emerson Delta V distributed control systems, Siemens-TI 505 Series, Modicon or Allen-Bradley PLCs, WonderWare HMI.Knowledge of Yokogawa and Emerson safety system.Possess good computer skills with Google Workspace products and computer networking.Strong knowledge of process control theory. Working knowledge of industry standards; e.g., ISA and IECGood communication skills, written and oral. Able to effectively interface with other engineering disciplinesorganizations, plant operations, and senior management.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Local senior TCL level. (This line is for internal hiring)Knowledge of Modbus TCP and Ethernet IP and OPC configuration.Physical RequirementsMust be able to wear personal safety equipment, including hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing.Educational Requirements BS degree in Chemical or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.Professional Engineer preferred.Minimum of 0-3 years experience.
