*Must have a portfolio**Experience facilitating design workshops*The Senior Designer - UX will help lead the design and definition as a key contributor to UX team, responsible for integrating human-centered practices in unpacking and improving the digital customer experience across all stages of the travel journey. The UX team supports defining digital product strategy and providing the leadership to execute on that strategy with the help of a cross-functional mission-based teams. Were looking for an empathic, passionate curious designer who celebrates delivering high-quality solutions and thrives for innovation in a collaborative environment.PLAN & CONCEPT• Visualize ideas using professional design tools as well as sticky notes, sketch boards, whiteboard markers or whatever tools are necessary to rapidly work through ideation and move to the next stage• Initiate and respond to ideas for innovationimprovements based on research, analysis, and competitive reviews• Identify user needs and business requirements• Substantiate design approach with analysis & projections for improvementsDESIGN & REFINE• Ensure digital customer touch points become and remain consistent with user experience and brand standards• Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions• Drive the design of next generation, navigation schemes, patterns, components and templates across the companys products, insuring a consistent, appealing, and dynamic customer experience.• Create low and high fidelity interactive prototypes adhering to a rapid, iterative and collaborative process• Work with usability researchers to design test plans and iterate designs throughout user testing. Translate usability research findings into design improvements.EducationCertification• BABS or equivalent work experience requiredKnowledgeSkills• Solid grasp of web design principles and a good understanding of front-end web technologies required• Excellent understanding of user experience design for the Web, mobile, and touch devices required• Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision required• Experience in writing detailed design specifications (IA, work flow, page functionality and layout, etc.), which technology developers use to build the product required• Must be a self-starter that can create schedules and define scope of work even when there are no clear requirements and direction required• Strong ability to communicate your design, defend your design decisions, and respond quickly to business needs required• Proven ability to set the design direction for your projects and to collaborate with other designers working in the space required• A team player who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment requiredExperience• 5+ years professional UX design experience required• 8+ years professional UX design experience preferredPay Range: $60-85 HR W2The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
