WHERE YOU FIT INThe Plant Manager provides leadership and direction to the plant in all areas of responsibility including, people, production, quality, safety, and maintenance functions. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations and site-specific strategic plan execution to ensure production goals are met in the most cost-effective manner, delivering expected financial results.WHAT YOU'LL DOthe overall activities of the manufacturing facilities of the plant to ensure demand is met, and product is produced and shipped at the lowest possible cost to meet the customers' requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards.with Quality to ensure the Food Safety and Security Programs are followed to assess potential food safety and security risks and to ensure food safety and security preventive measures are being implemented and routinely audited regarding the manufacturing, handling, and storage of all food ingredients as well as finished goods.production quotas and schedules, ensuring inventory and shipment targets are met.with supply chain department to verify, review, maintain, and report on materials and production inventories.that appropriate standard operating procedures (SOP's) are developed and maintained for all aspects of the business.and authorizes repairs or maintenance for production tools and equipment.and recommends cost controls and other improvements to production process to improve profitability of operations.plant safety programs and ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP's)and promote team members to continuously improve their knowledge and skills in their respective areas of responsibility.a work environment of respect and value for each employee while motivating excellence and growth in their performance and personal skills.and manages implementation of plant capital budget.other related duties for the organization as assigned.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORBachelor or Master's Degree in Engineering, Operations or Business Management or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations, maintenance, engineering andor process improvement roles including managing teams of people.Previous experience working in a Lean environment in the FoodBeverage industry.Familiarity with regulatory bodies (e.g. EPA, FDA, OSHA, etc.)WHAT WE VALUEExperience with start-up andor expansion of manufacturing capabilities. Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
