Job SummaryResponsible for providing International Logistics Operations oversight in a manner that supports company and customer goals. Continuously analyze operations, data and processes to measure and improve performance and productivity.ExperienceGenerally, 1-5 years of experience in related fieldPreferred Qualifications Job Specific DetailsCandidate should have strong problem-solving skills with a growth mindset.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, or other data analysis tools is required.This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills as it will interface with internal and external partners.Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key AccountabilitiesMonitor shipment progress from origin to destination and escalate to necessary partners to resolve delays.Produces reporting on operations pipeline status and communicates issues to leadershipGathers and compiles raw data; conducts research for trends and benchmarks; and normalizes data to be incorporated into a centralized data format.Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to industrycompany benchmarks, determines trends, and prepares cost analyses.Prepare spreadsheets for data analysis; prepare reports with charts and graphs ad-hoc requests. May make presentations.Troubleshooting resolving system as well as operational issues through partnership with logistics providers and internal HD Supply teams.Audit processing of invoices related to freight movements as well as monitoring of outstanding receivables balances of partners.Performs other duties as workload needs adjust.Participate in department and interdepartmental projects.
