Senior Technical Project Manager - RemoteOptomi, in partnership with an industry leading media streaming organization is seeking a Technical Project Manager within their Developer Platform Engineering Database Engineering teams. As Senior Technical Project Manager (TPM) within Developer Platform Engineering you will have the opportunity to refine our processes around delivery.Responsibilities:Enhance stakeholder relationships, understanding and dialogue.Enhance team throughput by removing roadblocks and leveraging organizational resources while helping to drive teams towards commitmentsFoster cross-team coordination and communicationAssist with estimation and planning of team resourcing, in conjunction with engineering team managerIdentify, maintain, and visualize metrics to guide the project lifecycleLead agile ceremonies for one to two teams of engineersDevelop fundamental technical understanding of the tools and services vended by your teamQualifications: Track record creating and growing trusting, lasting professional relationships with diverse stakeholders, maturing team's current engagements and advocating for future work.Demonstrable experience managing technical projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, developing and executing project plans and delivery commitments.Deep rooted passion and proven track record building motivated and collaborative teamsDetail oriented and excellent communication skills; ability to follow technical discussions and absorb technical documentationExperience working with distributed teams andor distributed organizationsWorking understanding of AWS and cloud based development and a desire to know morePreferred Qualifications:Exposure to modern DevOps and SRE practices around CICD, Infrastructure as Code, Availability, etcExperience with containersmicroservices in highly scalable cloud based applicationsCloud (AWS) experienceExperience as a software engineer, including exposure to Java or Scala
