We're looking for a passionate contributor who is as excited about this opportunity as we are.WHERE YOU FIT INThe Plant Manager is responsible for training, supervision, and oversight of production team members which includes baking, grating, and packaging, while ensuring all production processes follow safety, sanitation, quality, and efficiency standards. This position will also be responsible for achieving KPIs, best practice workflows, and analyzing the efficiencies of the manufacturing processes. This individual will have direct oversight for the production team and should effectively manage all aspects of production while ensuring the company meets service levels while achieving efficiencies.WHAT YOU'LL DOand oversee the team responsible for the production processes including the daily workflow, scheduling, responsibility alignment, and completion of assignments to meet production output.production plans and procedures while driving production performance by establishing daily, weekly, and monthly goals, to ensure that internal and external customer needs are met.performance oversight, safety monitoring, and constructive and timely performance feedback.the team and facilitate the organization's strategy for cultivating a fully engaged workforce through coaching, training, motivating, and driving a culture of team cohesiveness and effectiveness.current knowledge of best practices that minimize operational failure in conjunction with the maintenance and engineering department while also ensuring equipment and safeguards are maintained.perform verification of production output, quality, volume, and efficiencies according to specifications while preparing analysis for management as needed.regular processes are performed including sanitation, and material clearance for current and upcoming product runs to address potential shortages or challenges while also completing sporadic and regular "˜quality checks to ensure all labels, work orders, and bags contain the correct information.with functional areas to identify improvements that reduce cost by maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of product movement between manufacturing, warehousing, and ultimately, customer delivery.product expertise to streamline processes and gain efficiencies that help drive quality, cost, productivity, and improvements across the forecast, planning, and budgeting processes.other related duties for the organization as assigned.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORBachelor's degree in industrial, engineering, scientific, business, or other related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and leading teams in a food production environment.Previous experience working in a Lean environment in the FoodBeverage industry.Bilingual - EnglishSpanish is required.WHAT WE VALUEExperience with start-up andor expansion of manufacturing capabilities.Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams.Champion of workplace and food safety culture.WHERE YOU'LL BE WORKINGThis position will be based in our Elgin, IL manufacturing facility.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUAt Whisps you will work with the Best Team in Snacking!
