Job Description:
The ideal applicant must be a creative thinker who can work both independently and collaboratively across Marketing, Sales and Technology teams to ensure user digital experiences are consistent with high standards for brand consistency and focus on the customer. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centric UIUX design principles with a constant focus on best practices. Ideal candidates will demonstrate mobile-first thinking, experience with Responsive Web Design and a proven track record of rapid iteration from concept to final design within the inevitable challenges of business requirements and time to market. Responsibilitiesâ— Design engaging and high-quality responsive web solutionsâ— Communicate ideas and concepts clearly and concisely to the internal teamâ— Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Software Development teams to understand and translate requirementsâ— Maintain relevant knowledge of user design trends, standards, and techniques. â— Develop and maintain visual design libraries and UX pattern libraries for a consistent design. Effectively communicate with developers and other project team members through the implementation phase to realize the design vision. â— Demonstrate effective workflows from wireframes to high-fidelity designs that emphasize rapid iteration and fast turnaround of conceptsâ— Implement content additions and edits within website Content Management Systemâ— Act as a resource and thought partner to colleaguesâ— Assist with internal marketing and branding initiativesâ— Effectively work within deadline-driven projectsâ— Other tasks as assigned Qualifications â— Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3+ years of experience in computer science, visual communication, mobile applications, graphic design or related fieldâ— Responsive and mobile web or application design experience is requiredâ— Strong web designvisual design, layout, and typography skills with excellent attention to detailâ— Affinity for current industry developments, design trends, and technologies. â— Strong knowledge of UX processes and methodologies, including responsive web designâ— Ability to incorporate design direction and feedback from art director, marketing executives and executive leadershipâ— Demonstrated proficiency at an expert level with Balsamiq and Adobe Creative Suite applicationsâ— Experience with design and implementation of high-converting consumer-focused E-mail layouts a plusâ— Experience working with responsive websites and Native Mobile App design experience preferred.â— HTML and CSS coding experience helpful, but not requiredâ— Online Portfolio of work required with resume.
