Job Description:

Position Summary: Provide rapid assessment services, crisis counseling, and referrals to clients and their family members at the Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center. The Clinician will conduct intakes and diagnostic assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for clients presenting with mental health and substance use disorder crises. LCSW-C, LCMFT, or LCPC is required. LGPC, LMSW, or LGMFT can be considered for day shift. Compensation is based on licensure.FT and On Call Shifts Available:(FT) Monday - Friday: 4:00pm - 12:00am - LCPC, LCSW-C, or LCMFT only, can be a Hybrid position, if needed. (Compensation range $85,000 - 92,000)(OC) Monday - Friday; 12:00am - 8:00am; LCPC, LCSW-C, or LCMFTCompensation: $200 per shift; Hourly rate if called to respond to consumer is $41.00(OC) Saturday and Sunday. 12:00am - 12:00pm - LCPC, LCSW-C, or LCMFTCompensation: On call stipend is $200 per shift; Hourly rate if called to respond to consumer is $40.00(OC) Saturday and Sunday; 12:00pm - 12:00am - LCPC, LCSW-C, LCMFTCompensation: On Call stipend is $200 per shift; Hourly rate if called to respond to consumer is $41.00Primary Responsibilities:Conducts intake and psychosocial assessment with Clinical Intervention Clinician and SUD clients.Determines the urgency of client's need related to substance use and mental health disorders and makes referrals to the appropriate level of care.Renders immediate and appropriate guidance as well as brief therapeutic support for clients in need of clinical services or in crisisProvides multidimensional assessment and clinical evaluation, including diagnostic impression.Conducts Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) as appropriate.Collaborates with other professionals to assess client needs andor plan pletes and maintains accurate records or reports regarding clients' history and progress, services provided, or other required information.Assists clients in removing barriers to treatment by seeking psychiatric evaluation, coordinating medical stabilization, applying for health insurance, seeking grant funding for treatment services, andor collaborating with clients' natural supports when necessary.Through follow-ups, reviews and evaluates clients' progress in relation to measurable goals described in treatment or action tervenes as an advocate for clients to resolve imminent problems in crisis situations.Coordinates follow through with SUD treatment, mental health professionals, courts, probation officers, community services, or other agencies.Provides clients or community members with information about issues related to SUD and mental health disorders and about available services or programs, making appropriate referrals when necessary.Counsels' family members or other concerned parties to assist them in understanding, coping with, and supporting individuals who are misusing substances or experiencing mental health issues.Participates in weekly supervision.Participates in team meetings.Secondary Responsibilities:Other duties as assigned, required, or needed.Agency-wide Responsibilities:Participates in supervision, in-service training, and staff meetings.Maintains good working relationships with co-workers and positively contributes to group pletes all administrative duties including time sheets, leave requests, etc.Participates in special meetings, committees, or special projects as needed.Uses appropriate channels of communication to resolve conflicts with other teracts with staff, clients, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.Education and Experience:Master's degree in social work or counseling.LCSW-C or LCPC license preferred. LGPC required.At least 1+ years of relevant experience in mental health services, preferably in crisis intervention services, suicide prevention and intervention.Skills and Abilities:Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to function successfully in an environment requiring immediate response to urgent situations.Knowledge of and familiarity with local and statewide community resources.Analytical and problem-solving puter skills with various software and the internet.Work Conditions:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.Must be able to lift 25lbs.Must be willing to use own vehicle for company-related transportation, including obtaining medications from the pharmacy, attending community meetings, etc.Works some holiday shifts during the year.Grassroots Rewards & Incentives:Grassroots offers to pay 100% of the expenses for its Full-time employees wishing to take advantage in the following areas:Licensure andor Renewal (ex.
