Position Summary: ShermansTravel Media is seeking a digital media salesperson, who will be responsible for selling marketing campaigns to travel marketers on all digital platforms. This position is remote and requires selling experience in digital media with a strong understanding of travel marketing on a publisher level.The right candidate will be a strategic thinker, highly motivated, and energetic, capable of achieving aggressive revenue goals through consultative selling. The Brand Partnerships Manager will have a proven track-record in prospecting new clients, understanding business KPI's, recommending solutions to advertising partners, and a clear demonstration of closing skills.ACCOUNTABILITIES:Builds strong prospect pipeline in assigned travel categoriesAchieves assigned quarterly sales goals and strategizes Works effectively with direct brands as well as media agencies, expanding ShermansTravel's footprint in the marketplaceUses industry contacts and knowledge to achieve a higher-than-average closing rateThinks creatively about assigned travel categories and RFP submissionsSells cross-platform programs that meet prospects' buying goalsUnderstands and effectively positions first-party data benefits and alignment to partner KPIsCommunicates with strong verbal and written skillsGenerates new custom ideas to anchor category assignmentsUses reporting, results, and insights as a tool for upselling and retentionMaintains deep relationships with ST clients, managing both active and quiet timesEXPERIENCESKILLS:Minimum of 5 years of digital advertising sales, with a min of 3 years experience at travel or lifestyle publications, as well as travel category managementProven track record of reaching assigned sales goalsProactive, energetic attitude and desire to work in a results-oriented and deadline-driven environmentDesire and ability to closely manage client relationships (agency and brand direct)Team player who works well with support teams, colleagues, and other company departmentsStrong knowledge of the digital media industry and platforms including the latest news happenings at brands and other sitesExperience in selling branded content, lead gen, and sponsorship programs aligned to data-driven audience cohortsStrong understanding of the travel industry and the ST competitive setWilling to travel as needed to build relationships and close dealsExcellent presentation and negotiation skills, including strong written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding organization, time-management, follow-through skills, and the strong desire to achieve target results
