Collaborating closely with our partners, you'll craft a culinary journey tailored specifically to our location, ensuring that every guestfan who walks through our doors enjoys an unforgettable experience.Detailed ResponsibilitiesBuilding a strong partnership with our onsite partner and developing a shared culinary vision for the locationRepresenting Levy and our business objectives at partner meetings, networking and building relationships with key partners and vendorsOverseeing and ensuring the highest standards of safety and sanitation in all activities across the culinary departmentInterviewing applicants interested in roles requiring your hiring consideration and approvalIdentifying opportunities and driving improvements in both the food and financial performanceOverseeing season planning process ensuring alignment with Levy and partner expectationsgoalsOverseeing menu design and updates in line with food trends and internal data, cost of goods, and popularityOverseeing project management of constructionrefurbishment activity that happens in the departmentConducting event walks interacting with team members, guests, partners, and VIPsCreation of menu build diagramsWorking closely with the regional and Home Office culinary teams to continually evolve the food experience for guestsWorking in partnership with our partners and regional leadership team to develop location strategic planConducting department safety walks so it maintains an outstanding level of safety and cleanlinessJob Requirements5+ years experience as an Executive Chef in a high volume atmosphereAbility to taste and evaluate food and beverage productsCulinary degree from a reputable culinary school is preferredStrong leadership and management skills with the ability to manage budgets, control costs and drive profitabilityIn-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulationExceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a guest focused mindsetProven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalismHigh level of computer literacyExperience in the use of social media is preferredLevy is a member of Compass Group USA.
