Their mission is to make a profound impact on patients' lives by pioneering first-in-class biologics and innovative treatments.As a SeniorPrincipal Scientist in Clinical Biomarkers, you will be a key player in their research efforts to develop therapies that combat neuromuscular disease. You will leverage your extensive industry experience to lead clinical research initiatives, biomarker development, and uncover critical insights that guide their therapeutic programs.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and execution of biomarker discovery and validation studies to support clinical development programs.Collaborate cross-functionally with research, clinical, and regulatory teams to identify and prioritize biomarker strategies aligned with therapeutic goals.Develop and optimize assays for biomarker quantification, including but not limited to immunoassays, molecular assays, and imaging techniques.Analyze and interpret complex biomarker data sets, providing insights and recommendations to guide decision-making.Stay abreast of advancements in biomarker science and technology, incorporating emerging trends and methodologies into project strategies.Author and review scientific publications, regulatory documents, and presentations related to biomarker research.Qualifications:Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology).Minimum of 5 years of experience in biomarker discovery and development within the biopharmaceutical industry or academic research setting.Expertise in a range of biomarker techniques, including but not limited to proteomics, genomics, imaging, and bioinformatics.Proven track record of leading biomarker programs from conception through validation and implementation in clinical trials.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate scientific literature and data.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Experience working in neuromuscular disease research or related therapeutic areas is preferred but not required.Full job description and company details available upon application.
