Morgan Corp. is currently searching for an Estimator for our Savannah, GA division.The primary responsibilities of this position is to perform all pre-bid services by development and preparation of cost estimates for construction projects or services as assigned.Responsibilities:Overall responsibility for acquiring profitable workCoordinate bid schedules and assign bid responsibilities for the departmentReview all estimatesMonitor bid listingsnotificationsFamiliar with estimating and take-off software B2W and Agtek a plusUpdate B2W databaseInteract with Business DevelopmentAttend pre-bid meetingsPrepare bid proposalsEstimate projectsCoordinate with operations for successful project turnoversSupport field change orders as neededCoordinate subcontract and vendor proposal solicitationSome travel, including overnight required (Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related fieldat least 5 years of related experience in estimating andor project managementHeavy civil experience preferredEarthwork background preferredMorgan Corp. has been a leader in commercial and industrial site development since 1945.
