Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager-Corporate Events to join our team.As a Sales Manager-Corporate Events you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving special event sales, building and nurturing client relationships, and ensuring that each event is executed to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will be a skilled sales professional with a proven track record in driving revenue and will bring a blend of creativity, enthusiasm, and extensive event sales experience coupled with a solid network of industry contacts and established contacts in the corporate world.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Sales Development & Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets, increase revenue, and expand client base with a focus on corporate and brand working: Leverage existing industry contacts to generate leads and cultivate new relationships. Proactively solicit new business through sales calls, trade shows, and other client prospecting opportunities in an effort to increase the size of ARTECHOUSE's client database.Contract Management: Own all aspects of the proposals, pricing strategies, negotiating, contracting and payment process for events.Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain relationships with clients before, during, and post-event to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business.Event Execution: Oversee the execution of events to ensure they meet and exceed client expectations and maintain high standards.Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and event vendors to ensure cohesive communication and the successful execution of events. Provide clear event briefs and requirements to ensure alignment among various teams.Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to ensure offerings remain competitive and innovative.Perform other assignmentsfunctions as requiredWHO YOU AREBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in event sales with a demonstrated history of achieving sales targets.Established network of industry contacts and corporate connectionsStrong negotiation, presentation, collaboration, and communication skillsAbility to multitask and manage projects independently, ensuring deadlines are met and production value of events is of the highest standardProficient in CRM software and Google SuiteHigh attention to detail with exceptional organizational and customer service skillsAbility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessaryAttractionhospitalitymuseum management experience a plusCORE QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCELift up to 40lbs, to load and transport event materials as neededRegular crouching, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, etc. to facilitate various production activities.Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands to finger, and handle controls, as well as reach with hands and arms.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.Ability to stand, walk on hard floor surfaces for a prolonged period of time.Candidates must be commutable to NYC, hybrid schedule.BENEFITS + COMPENSATION$75-130k (base plus commission) Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and commission structure.Generous benefits package including health, dental, paid vacation and 401KOpportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.Professional development and growth opportunities within the company.Access to industry events and networking opportunities.WHO WE AREWe are a small team with big ambitions.
