Hybrid role - Will be required to go on-site to client site (State Health and Human Services in Boston, MA) We are looking for strong implementation skills as a PM supporting healthcare contracts. State experience in some capacity is a must (CMS or MMIS).Senior Project Manager - Healthcare ITPosition SummaryThe Senior Project Manager - Healthcare IT will be responsible for directly managing a strategic project and supporting department level governance functions for the project implementation team.Project Management Responsibilities Lead and manage a complex cross-functional project using appropriate project management principles, tools, and techniques.Manage resources, schedules, financial execution, and quality control guidelines throughout the project life cycle.Lead the project team to deliver results on time and within the prescribed budget, address and escalates risks, issues, and project changes, prepares status reports, and responds to queries from senior leadership.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation; prepare and distribute status reports; deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the customer and relevant stakeholders. Governance ResponsibilitiesSupport the Project Intake Process: Manage the project intake process, including triaging requests, assessing alignment with organizational goals, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and providing recommendations for prioritization.Develop Executive ReportsDashboards: Create and maintain executive reports and dashboards to provide real-time insights into project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and resource utilization for senior leadership.Facilitate Governance Meetings: Organize and facilitate governance meetings, including steering committee and project review meetings, to ensure alignment with project objectives and strategic priorities.Resource Management: Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning efforts to ensure optimal utilization of resources across projects.Training and Support: Provide training and support to project managers and team members on PMO processes, tools, and best practices.Quality Assurance: Conduct periodic audits of project documentation and deliverables to ensure adherence to PMO standards and quality guidelines.Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues, and solicit feedback for continuous improvement. Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in Medicaid or Health Care.8+ years of experience in consultative project management roles.Proven organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software tools.Preferred QualificationsProject Management Certification from a known governing body (example: PMI, Prince2, Scrum Alliance, etc.).Proven experience supportingmanaging projects forwithin State or Local Health and Human Services agencies.Proven experience managing a Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) funded Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) initiative, with a strong plus if it involved CMS certification.EducationBachelor's degree in business, project management or related field, or equivalent experienceECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
