Big Lift's ever-increasing market penetration through a nationwide network for dealerships has expanded our need for a Senior Territory Sales Manager. Job Summary:Material handling sales are made possible through the diligent application of well-planned and well documented activity. Material handling dealerships are fast paced, moving, evolving, and fluid environments which require significant support systems to thrive efficiently. This role will drive the execution of the company's sales strategy within a defined geographic area and are responsible for the development and support of dealer relationships within our nationwide network to maximize market penetration and sales growth.Responsibilities:1. Identify Prospective DealershipsIdentify forklift dealerships within the assigned region, based on size, market, current brands carried, and the potential opportunities to become an EP Forklifts stocking dealer.2. Build Relationships Initiate contact with prospective dealerships through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.Present the benefits and features of our EP Forklifts lithium forklift line, highlighting the Brand's competitive advantages and value proposition.Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, sales managers, sales reps, and sales coordinators within dealerships.3. Facilitate and Close Dealer AgreementsCollaborate with prospective dealerships to understand their needs, objectives, and potential sales volumes.Negotiate mutually beneficial dealership agreements, pricing, and terms of partnership. Work closely with the EP Forklifts sales team to ensure seamless onboarding of new dealerships.4. In-person and Digital Presentations Provide presentations on EP Forklifts as a Brand, Product Portfolio, Product Deep Dives, Lithium Overview, Charger Analysis, Application overviews, Sales PerformanceGoals reviews, Demo analysis, and End-User presentations.5. Provide Training and Support Coordinate training sessions and product knowledge transfer for dealership staff, ensuring they are equipped to effectively promote and sell our EP Forklifts lithium forklifts.Serve as a point of contact for inquiry, quotes, pricing, availability, supply-chain visibility, ongoing support, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that arise on the front line.6. Market Intelligence Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities.Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product developments.Provide regular reports and feedback to the management team regarding market dynamics and potential areas for growth.Preferred ExperienceEducation:Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience within industryMinimum 10+ years in Industrial Equipment Sales with a detailed understanding ofExperience and product knowledge in the material handling industry or other vehicular industries (i.e., forklifts, or other agricultural, construction, or transportation equipment, etc.) is strongly preferred.Proven record of prospecting, cold calling and building rapport and productive with clients to achieve new business acquisitions.3+ years utilizing CRM Program (SalesForce) to provide visibility and effectively.Certified to operate material handling equipment.SkillsCapabilities:Proficiency in MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Driven, competitive, and disciplined to achieve sales successExcellent judgement,and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must have a clean driving record, pass criminal background check, and drug screen.Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently is required.Bi-lingualSpanish fluency is advantageous.
