Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Greenville, SCIndustry: light industrial manufacturingStatus of Hire: direct placement; permanentPay: $28hr + annual bonusHours: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) + OT availabilityBenefits: Medical (Employer pays 60%-75% of the premiums), Dental, Vision, PTO, LTD, STD, and more!Summary: Involved in all areas of plant maintenance including building and equipment. Other areas might include wiring, fabrication, assembly and testing of developmental machines, and is able to perform task with minimal supervision.Job Duties:Electrical knowledge; Basic PLC knowledgeKnowledge of injection molding machines, automation machines, and automatic take offs Read blueprints and interpret requirements for mechanical functionTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, water systems and electrical equipment; Troubleshoot and repair all facility and production equipmentIdentify problems and offer solutions and modifications to existing systemsWork on safety, housekeeping and machine cleaningTechnician must have the ability to wire basic electrical circuitsPerform machine PM's (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical) and rebuildsRead and understand machine schematicsTrain other techniciansLead projects as assignedWork with other technicians as neededIdentify parts on schematics, retrieve costquotes from vendors and write requisitions for partsAssist in maintaining facility equipment to including: air compressors, air dryers, chillers, and cooling towersKnowledge of robotic and runner pickersAll other duties as assignedQualifications and Requirements:School Diploma or GEDDegree in a Maintenance Related field IMT or IET preferred with 3 years' experience or 5 years' experience as a Mechanical TechnicianMotivated individual that works well with other technical trades.must possess good communication skills and wear PPE as required.must have knowledge of safe work practices.must have a working knowledge of operating milling machines, lathe machine, torches, cutting tools, and other maintenance support tools.and welding knowledgemust be able to handle multiple tasks and working under pressure.Experience a plus.
