AllSTEM Connections is looking for a talented Field Service Manager with one of our prestigious client based out at Houston, TX. Our client offers an environmentally safe, chemical-free fire protection system for Aviation Industry.Location - Houston, TX - 77054If you get excited about making end users happy by ensuring that their system is in top-notch condition so that they can focus on keeping their aircraft flying. You naturally build relationships with clients, so that they can openly communicate issues and concerns to you. You are comfortable traveling frequently and can work alone during a basic inspection or a quick fix but are just as comfortable working as a team lead with multiple technicians on larger repairs, upgrade, or maintenance jobs. In this role, you are not taking over an established service department, instead you are building one from the ground up. You will have a discretionary budget to fix problems. Responsibilities:Responsible for organizing and managing the calendar for onsite inspections and maintenance municate with clientend-user to schedule site visits.Plan and organize tasks, personnel, and materials required for onsite inspections and maintenance visits.Conduct thorough onsite inspections and perform maintenance of installed systems to ensure they are operating correctly and safely.Ensure that all necessary base access and permissions are obtained and up to date prior to site visits.Discuss incoming technical issues from clients to the team, ensuring timely and effective solutions.When necessary, lead a small crew onsite for system upgrades or complex maintenance tasks.Document and inform the team of successful fixes in the field.RequirementsA bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or fire protection engineering.Candidates coming from the MEP industry (HVAC systems) would be considered perfectAt least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing inspections and maintenance on critical equipment to operations. Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Flexibility to travel 2-5 days a week to various locations for site visits, inspections, and maintenance activities.Prior military experience is preferred.
