Our services include Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and Small Hole EDM.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Engineer located in Greenville, SC. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring product quality through design, development, testing, analyzing data, creating reports, troubleshooting issues related to the quality of our products and implementation of quality control systems. The Quality Engineer will also be responsible for assisting in Contract Review and Traveler Packet Review activities, Quality Planning including ballooning engineering drawings, creating control plans, and in creation of process aids and related documents.QualificationsExperience in Quality Engineering, Quality Control, and Quality AssuranceStrong knowledge of product quality standards, quality management principles, and quality control processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with statistical analysis tools and techniquesExcellent written and verbal communication skills5 years inspection and layout experience in a manufacturing environment3 years CMM programming operating experienceExperience in Gage Calibration methodsExperience in Statistical Methods and Gage R&RExperience in technical writing and creation of process documentsISO9000-based Quality Management System experience (AS9100 & Nadcap desirable)
