Welcome to Ankle & Foot Surgery, LLC! We are a podiatry practice inquiring to hire one individual as a full time Medical Assistant to join our team. We are a private practice located at Ascension Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. The following are the day to day responsibilities as a Medical Assistant:Arriving 30min prior to clinic start time to prep and stock the exam roomsReviewing the schedule for the day to confirm any diagnostic imaging reports that are needed and pulling up images for the doctorRooming the patients upon arrival and cleaning and sanitizing the rooms for the next patientMaintaining the back area clean for patients and doctors Updating medical historymedications and entering it into the patient's file along with new patient informationCasting the patients for custom made orthoticsbracesTaking x-raysSetting up procedure trays for the doctor for office procedureChecking on medical supplies and ordering
