Only candidates who live in the Greater Charlotte, Fort Mill, and Rock Hill areas will be considered for the position.Purpose MissionAmazing Athletes is a youth sports enrichment program that focuses on teaching kids ages 18 months to 12 years old the basics of 10 different sports and activities (Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf, Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis, Track and Field, Volleyball, and many more) with an introduction to nutrition, muscle identification, and development of key motors skills.Duties And ResponsibilitiesFollowing the established Amazing Athletes curriculum, the primary responsibility for this position is to teach the basics of different sports, activities, nutritional information, muscle identification, and basic motor development skills to kids ages 18 months to 12 years Coaches will travel throughout the Greater Charlotte area to different daycares, preschools, and public private schools to teach Tracking attendance, keeping records of child progress, and maintaining positive relationships with center staff, directors, parents, and other Amazing Athletes staff are other important areas of responsibility Ensure the safety of all participants while in the care of Amazing AthletesWorking ConditionsCandidates must be able to stand, bend down, and move for extended periods of time, often outdoors. Smart devices and reimbursement for personal devices data usage will not be covered by Amazing Athletes of Greater CharlottePreferred Qualifications ExperienceCollege experience and or greater education experience 3-5 years of childcare related experienceandor3-5 years of sports related experience Able to work a flexible schedule Various hours between 8-5Various 3-5 days a weekThose able to work more shifts will be considered firstBenefits$15-20hr based on experience, paid bi weekly* Mileage reimbursement for travel* Holiday pay* Subject to Compensation Agreement
