As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Vice President of Logistics to lead our Logistics and LTL Sales division. As GigaCloud Technology continues to grow its product lines, sales channels, and operations and we seek talented individuals to join our team.Job Summary:The Vice President of Logistics is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's logistics sales operations and supply chain management. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of logistics processes and technologies.WHAT DOES THIS ROLE INVOLVE?Essential Job Duties:Develop new business account relationships by understanding the customers' business, identifying growth opportunities, and driving improvement with a focus on big and heavy items final mile delivery and LTL consolidation.Retain profitable business by managing account base and ensuring quality relationships with customers.Represent the company in strategic negotiations with customers, while developing and maintaining high-level relationships with key decision makers at shippers.Cultivate new sales leads to established business.Take leadership of the sales cycle process including prospect development, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, contract signing, start-up and customer service follow-up after business award.Mentor sales team members to enhance and refine requisite skills and competencies needed to successfully close business.Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions.Other duties as assigned by department supervisor, manager, andor executive management.The duties and responsibilities described above may provide only a partial description required from this position. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
