Oscar de la Renta is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer for our corporate office in New York City. This role is temp to perm and reports to the Director, Creative and Social Media. Any applications that do not include both a portfolio and resume will not be considered.Responsibilities:Under the guidance of the Director, manage multiple projects to execute design decisions and clear and consistent communication of the brandCreate web graphics and marketing collateral consistent with the brand's image and guidelinesPlan project timelines and work effectivelyPhoto EditingColor correcting, silhouettingEmail and SMS campaignsDepartment file managementPrint invitations and lookbooksDigital invitations and lookbooksWebsite updatesFashion presentation preparationFashion presentation photography during castingsIntroductory Package DesignKey qualifications:2+ years of experience working for a luxury fashion brandProficient and advanced in Adobe including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, bridge, Lightroom; (knowledge of premiere is a plus)Works well under pressure and on tight deadlinesExpert knowledge of typography and grid systemsA solid creative portfolio that features typography work with photographyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized and able to multi-task while working in a fast paced environmentWell versed in both print and digital designWorking knowledge of print productionSolution oriented thinking and attitude
