Sage Parts is the world's largest supplier of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and airport-related replacement parts with warehouses in the United States, Canada, Chile, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau, South Africa, and The Netherlands. Sage Parts supplies replacement parts and accessories for all types and brands of GSE including aircraft cargo loaders, deicers, pushback tractors, baggage tractors, ground power units, pre-conditioned air units, air start units, lavatorywater vehicles, transporters, and dollies. Sage Parts provides supply chain management, on-site supply services, single-source supply and other cost reduction programs. We are expanding our global reach and are in search of a US Wholesale Sales Leader with experience leading high performing sales teams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Revenue development: $35-$45 MillionGross Margin developmentDirects the sales activities through the implementation of company strategyTeam management: 7 Area Sales ManagersEnsures strategic and tactical alignment with key stakeholders and business partners to grow business profitablyDrive accountability, new opportunity development, customer relations, and customer retentionManage the business pipelineBusiness LeadershipImplement segment initiatives on a local level with customers, supplier partners and local internal resourcesDevelop and co-owns personal contacts with key customersDemonstrate business acumen and achieve revenue goalsLeverage appropriate pricing strategy to guide team to most profitable business growthDemonstrate change leadership; drive and actively lead team through business changesResource ManagementLead team in prioritizing tasks to justify individual or team allocation of time and resourcesPrioritize people and projects to ensure that both internal and external client needs are metManage strategic supplier relationships in partnership with internal stakeholdersDrive understanding and adoption of key business tools and resourcesTalent ManagementSelect, develop, train, and retain diverse sales forceIdentify and develop future leaders and strong contributorsManage Area Sales Managers performance metrics in accordance with a sales management approachObserve progress, judge the effectiveness of direct reports, and provides timely and appropriate feedback.Coach and counsel direct reports to perform successfully and in ongoing development of skills and competenciesMetricsRevenue $Gross Margin %Gross Profit $Opportunity Pipeline and conversion rateARREQUIREMENTS REQUESTED QUALIFICATIONSBe strategic, organized and technology savvy in approach to managing a sales teamDemonstrated successful strategic planning, goal setting and allocation, problem solving, quantitative analysis and time managementDemonstrate the ability to motivate and achieve results through othersDemonstrate leadership skills to assess, coach, counsel, and develop a sales teamStrong business acumen with the ability to understand financial reporting, to analyze business needs, costsbudgets and P&LPossess excellent presentation skills, strong customer focus, and the ability to effectively lead through changeExperienced in technical products salesBA in business administration or related field5+ years working experience in Sales leadership Parts Aftermarket experience in an Industrial environmentTRAVELEXPECTED WORK HOURSProfessional staff must be available during the "core" work hours of 8 am - 5 pm, Monday thru Friday.
