Our comprehensive ERP solutions enable them to streamline and scale their IT products and processes.As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support for incidents and service requests related to the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, data protection, and virtualization. You will diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring timely resolution by coordinating with peer engineers and other teams. Additionally, you will play a key role in implementing, monitoring, and optimizing backup and disaster recovery strategies, maintaining data integrity and availability. Your responsibilities also include routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching of infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance and security. Accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions is crucial.Location:Our home office is based in Cincinnati, OH. However, we are open to hiring someone who is fully remote regardless of location. Although the position will be remote, there might be some occasional travel to ERPS facilities or customer sites.Responsibilities:Provide support for incidents and service requests related to IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, data protection, and virtualization.Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure components, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.Implement and enforce security best practices in the cloud environment.Stay informed about the latest security threats and proactively address vulnerabilities.Work closely with development and operations teams for seamless integration of applications and services.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture and processes.Requirements:Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master's degree is a plus).Mastery of AWS or OCI support and design, with strong disaster recovery skills.Experience with data protection and disaster recovery.Knowledge of industry-standard hypervisors (certification is a plus).Familiarity with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation, AWS IAM, AWS ELB, Veeam.10+ years of experience fortable with VMware in various configurations and versions.Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.PersonalityCulture Fit:The ideal candidate will be comfortable with VMware in various versions and configurations,They should be confident in taking on problems beyond their current knowledge base and be willing to contact support for quick resolutions.Adaptability to an ever-changing and dynamic environment is essential.
