If you're ready to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to continuous improvement and tailored solutions for our customers, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity with us.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with engineering teams to support operational and sales estimating processes.Contribute to the development of projects and provide ongoing operational support as required.Engage in service-oriented engineering tasks for both operations and sales departments.Manage projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring they are ready for operational deployment.Assist in creating estimates that align with best practices for manufacturing processes.Contribute to the design and development of welding and forming fixtures.Generate conceptual designs and technical drawings using SolidWorks 3D CAD software.Develop DXF files to facilitate programming requirements.Support the creation and maintenance of operational-specific technical documentation.Contribute to the establishment and enhancement of best practices to optimize operational efficiency.Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity through lean manufacturing principles.Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop manufacturing plans for new products.Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet customer specifications.Provide training and support to production teams on new processes, equipment, and best practices.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.Lead or support cross-functional projects related to process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and new product introductions.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role.Proficient in CAD software, with SolidWorks proficiency strongly preferred.Experience with laser nesting software.Familiarity with MRP systems.Proven track record in designing products for manufacturability.Ability to collaborate effectively within technical teams.Demonstrated project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
