Job Description:

Propel HR is looking for someone with payroll know-how and customer service skills to add to their implementation team. You will have flexibility and great benefits while joining a stable, growing company. SummaryThis position is responsible for setting up new clients in our payroll software system. Responsibilities include using organizational skills, project management, and exceptional customer service skills to set up client payroll and other related HR functions in our cloud-based payroll platforms.ResponsibilitiesHandle the implementation process of new clients: information gathering, setting up clients, enrolling employees and loading historical information in payroll platformProvide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients throughout the implementation processManage workflow through the first payroll period to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely, applying multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environmentReview and reconcile payrolls prior to transmission to client, validating confirmed reportsIncrease client retention rate through quality service and with excellent communication skills (by phone and email)Research and resolve clientsystem problems, offering solutions with timely responses; document special requests in company database for tracking purposesEstablish and maintain a positive working relationship with clients, agencies and coworkers to promote a quality service imageProvide back-up support to other payroll team members as neededCollaborate with HR, Benefits and Accounting teams for payroll-related concernsPerform other work-related duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or other related field desired3+ years of payroll processing experience required2+ years of project management experienceKronosUKG Workforce Ready experience desiredSolid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws Proficient in MS Office, data entry and office equipmentProven facility in customer service and problem resolution in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written, oral, and presentation communication skillsExcellent organizational, planning and prioritization skillsPositive and motivating interpersonal skillsAbility to learn new software quicklyAbility to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently and make sound decisionsSalary: $50-60kBenefits401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveVision insurance
